THIS MESSAGE GOES TO ALL
CURRENT CVMB MEMBERS.

first, i want to say.. please, give your leaders your fullest co-operation.. i'm sure they're trying their best to lead the band well, lead the sections well. it's not that they wna find fault with you or whatever, but think.. did you try your very best to become a good member? and make the leaders job easier? it's not that whatever they do will always be right, and that their decisions will be the most wonderful one. so, if you're unhappy with anything abu them, voice it out.. tell them what you think that is wrong.. what you think they should not do.. but as well, all of you should work together, listen to what your leaders instruct you to do.. and also, please don't create any conflicts btw each other, of cause including not giving attitude to them. do you think that being a leader is so easy? no. when leader do smth, members will always see them as bad guys, villians. leaders scold and punish, members hate them. a leader and a member will certainly have a different view and opinion of smth. when a leader have to carry out their job, members normally do not give them their understanding.. everyone will just complain and complain and complain. just like how you dislike your band teachers sometimes.. of cos, this isn't totally your fault. if you haven't get a taste how hard a leader's job is, you wouldn't understand. but as time goes by, as you grow and get to lead, you will certainly understand why your seniors do this and that in the past.. why they love to "ill treat" you.. blablabla. in this process, you'll sure get to learn alot, and knw how to handle things better. nonetheless, leaders, you guys should also first SET A GOOD EXAMPLE to all your members.. and be fair to everyone, even if he/she is your bestest friend. you should draw a line btw band and friends.. in band, you should see everyone as the same, and treat them equally.. not like, A is my friend, so i must treat A better, give A chances for doing something wrong and A can be excused from punishments etc.. though yes, he/she might be your friend.. your closest friend.. as a leader, you still have to carry out what is right.. even if he/she doesn't give you your understanding, you still have to do your job. on the contra, being a friend you should give them your fullest support and understanding.. so when they carry out their jobs, they will feel better knowing that they have someone supporting them all the way..

now to music.. in the first place, have you guys ever tried your best to play, put in all your efforts and heart&soul to learn? efforts are never too little, so if you didn't even put in any, you'll never see the fruits of your labour. people.. please get your piority right. when you guys sectional, sectional on the correct thing. sectional on parts that you don't know or you're not sure of. and most importantly, sectional on the right song. okay, i understand that everyone would want to play the nicest part and you enjoy doing so. but the whole song, you can't possibly only play the nice part and not doing anything about parts that you don't know.. how would you improve? of cos, when you guys are sectional-ing, please seriously sectional. not doing other things else, like playing with your phones, messaging, talk and play around... seriously, i don't think you guys are putting in all your efforts and trying hard enough.. are you guys going for sectionals? and when you sectional, are you really sectional-ing? have you guys tried hard enough? if you really think you did, that would be great. but if no, please start to do something abu yourself now. but please do not have the mindset that because we're a silver band now, we don't need to play as well anymore. yes, we're now a silver band. so what, getting a silver status means we have to play like a silver band? and having the amount of practices a silver band has is enough? so why can't all of us take this as a test, and prove to everyone that we're still a gold band, we play like a gold band and we certainly have the discipline what a gold band should have. so does it mean that when we fell hard, we don't stand to walk again and crawl our whole life? whatever done cannot be undone, but we CAN prove and ensure that we will never make those mistakes again. you can stand again even when you fell. if you never try hard enough, you'll never know the result. don't ever let all your seniors disappoint again.. we must make their efforts and of cos our efforts pay off, and NEVER REGRET again.

failures are way to success ! hopefully all of you will know what i'm trying to say.. i'm sure you guys can do it, jiayous.(:
